A Message from the Principal...

Not only is another school year quickly coming to a close but so is my time as principal of Evergreen Elementary. As I write my last newsletter, I pause and think back to the last ten years. There are so many wonderful memories that I will take with me from my time here at Evergreen. Thank you all for the trust you placed in me to watch over your children. I have enjoyed watching all of them learn and grow! If I could leave you with one last piece of advice or request, please make sure your children know that you value their education. They are our future, and we want them to know the importance of learning!

I have had the good fortune to work with such a great group of people who work tirelessly to help our students succeed! Please join me in showing how much we appreciate our teachers. National Teacher Appreciation week is May 1-5. Drop off a note of thanks, a box of donuts, a basket of fruit, or a gift card to show them how much you appreciate their work.

Please join me in welcoming Mr. Scott Raymond, Evergreen’s new principal. Mr. Raymond joined the district in 2004 and has been the assistant principal at Villago Middle School for the past 5 years. I am confident that Mr. Raymond is committed to continue the great work here at Evergreen. He will officially begin his duties on July 1.
